Walk in the Woods - LatinX Heritage Month event with City of Longmont Open Space

Join Longmont City in honoring Latinx Heritage Month with A Walk in the Woods at Button Rock Preserve, followed by a warm cup of yerba santa tea blend for the occasion here at Honorable Harvest. This event will include a guided botany walk led by local volunteer botanists focusing on plants that hold significance in Latinx cultures. A Walk in the Woods bridges nature and culture, honoring Latinx heritage through an inclusive, educational, and meaningful experience. We are pleased to support the City of Longmont in fostering a sense of belonging, promoting cultural pride, and inspiring conservation and sustainability-minded action in our shared landscapes.

Mindfulness Through Tea

On May 28th at 5:30pm Caitlin Rose-Kenney will lead a mindfulness practice using the taste and smell of tea. Caitlin's practice focuses on helping people to develop a healthy relationship with their body, mind and spirit through Yoga and mindfulness practices infused with ecological conversations, the dance between yin and yang, and nature's seasonal wisdom. 

This event is open to all. We encourage a donation between $5-15, all of which will go to our speaker as a thanks for sharing their time and knowledge.
